*How to cook "Vietnamese -style Griilled steak with noodles*
Ingredients;
6 ounces capellini, or other thin spaghetti
3 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1/1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. anchovy paste
1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves,shredded on 1 tsp dried,
crumbled plus 2 mint sprigs for ganish.
2 3/4 inch -thick bonelese shell sheaks(abuot 1 lb).
3/4cup fresh ben sprouts,rinsed and drained.
*Directions
1.in a kettle of boiling salted water, boil the cac pellini until it is just tender and drain it
in a colander.
2.rinse the capellini under cold water and drain it well.
3.while the noodles are boiling, in a blender, ,blend,the vinegar,1tbsp water,soy sauce,garlic the sugar,the red pepper flakes,salt,and archovy paste until the sauce is smooth
4.In a bowl toss the noodles win yhe sauce and the shredded mint.
5.Heat well seasoned ridged drill pan over moderately hihg heat until it is hat and in it grill the steaks,palted dry sesoned w/ salt and pepper for 3-4 min.on each side/until they are springly to the touch,for medium-rare meat,.
6.Transfer the steaks in a cutting board and let the stand for 5min. cut the steaks into thin slices.
7.Divide the noodles between 2 plates,mounding them,arrange the slices of steak on them,and sorround the noodles w/ the bean sprouts and the bell pepper.
